About SAP at Duke

SAP is the world's leading provider of business software solutions. Duke uses various SAP products to support most of the university’s and health system’s core administrative processes, including accounting, human resources, payroll, and purchasing. The SAP integrated suite includes client/server software (R/3 and Business Warehouse) and a web-based component (iForms).

SAP provides Duke departments with financial information quicker and easier than previous systems. Duke began using SAP in March 1999, and more than 3,000 employees use the system on a regular basis. Worldwide, more than 91,000 companies and organizations in 120 countries use SAP products.

This website will give you the basic information you need to begin using SAP at Duke.
